Hungry for Paris: The Ultimate Guide to the Citys 102 Best Restaurants by Alexander Lobrano

This book turned out to be an excellent resource during our recent trip to Paris. We ended up trying 5 restaurants he recommended, and all were excellent and great experiences. In addition, his reviews and the essays interspersed throughout the book are entertaining and informative. For those unfamiliar with French food (or language) you may have difficulty identifying the foods he eats as the names arent always presented in both French and English, but overall I really enjoyed the book and would recommend it to anyone traveling to Paris or who justs wants to vicariously enjoy some great dining experiences.

French Language Stack Exchange is a question and answer site for students, teachers, and linguists wanting to discuss the finer points of the French language. It only takes a minute to sign up. I'm curious about this, as what I was taught in high school suggests that "J'ai faim" is the proper way to say "I'm hungry". However, I know that a wealth of everyday French cuts even more corners or constructs sentences non-traditionally to achieve the same effect. I guess I'd just like to know which one is more common or more used?

These sentences come from external sources and may not be accurate. Read more here. Search for more words in the Greek-English dictionary. Dictionary Conjugation Phrases Games More by bab. I have done some research on the Internet, and it turns out that J'ai faim is actually the technically correct version, however Duo accepts "Je suis faim. I personally think it is odd to say "I have hunger," but hey, learning languages has some twists and turns. French is my mother tongue, the correct answer is " j'ai faim".
