House of Leaves by Mark Z. DanielewskiYears ago, when House of Leaves was first being passed around, it was nothing more than a badly bundled heap of paper, parts of which would occasionally surface on the Internet. No one could have anticipated the small but devoted following this terrifying story would soon command. Starting with an odd assortment of marginalized youth—musicians, tattoo artists, programmers, strippers, environmentalists, and adrenaline junkies—the book eventually made its way into the hands of older generations, who not only found themselves in those strangely arranged pages but also discovered a way back into the lives of their estranged children.
Now, for the first time, this astonishing novel is made available in book form, complete with the original colored words, vertical footnotes, and newly added second and third appendices.
The story remains unchanged, focusing on a young family that moves into a small home on Ash Tree Lane where they discover something is terribly wrong: their house is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside.
Of course, neither Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist Will Navidson nor his companion Karen Green was prepared to face the consequences of that impossibility, until the day their two little children wandered off and their voices eerily began to return another story—of creature darkness, of an ever-growing abyss behind a closet door, and of that unholy growl which soon enough would tear through their walls and consume all their dreams.

I worked night audit at this semi swanky hotel next to the airport. One night I get a call from a lady in She says there was arguing, loud banging and crying coming out of , check the computer, no one is checked into that room due to maintenance issues. Called my supervisor to see what to do she tells me to call on site security and follow them up with a key. But I decide to be the bigger man and go up anyways. My heart starts racing as we near the door, so I hand the key to the security guard. The next 5 minutes seemed to happen in slow motion, he opens the door and immediately flicks on the light.
Reddit is filled with creepy stories. These ones - which consist of disturbing, strange, and just plain weird tales of horrifying moments - tell tales of things that the commenters simply will never forget. I went with a friend to a cemetery to visit his mother's grave on Mother's Day about five years ago. When we got to her tomb, he pulled his dick out, pissed on her grave , then blew her a kiss. He didn't say a word.
There was a story on here a while back by a trucker who shared his creepiest experience while out on the road. It was getting very late and very dark so he pulled into a rest area off the highway in the middle of nowhere. The place was totally empty, meaning there weren't any other vehicles or people there. While he was getting some shut eye inside his truck, he heard a faint sound of a barking dog that seemed to get louder and louder as time went by. Eventually the nasty barking sound was coming from right outside his driver side door. As he got up to look in the window, he didn't see a rabid dog but instead it was some crazy-eyed person looking directly at him, growling and trying to get in. He started the engine and got the heck out of there.
