Not only have I not written about this on my blog, or anywhere online, but I have not told a single soul until last night. The truth is a little different. As this is a recurring problem in my life, thanks to the fact that I simply cannot resist eating whatever local food is put in front of me, I decided to ignore the problem and get on the plane. I was still excited beyond belief as it was my first time riding in a seaplane. I was in one the most beautiful countries on earth and my long nights of blogging and producing quality content landed me a free stay in a ridiculously fancy hotel. I tried to snapchat, to take photos, to be a good blogger.

I did it. Any variation will do the job, as either is the heart of each and every confession. They are looking for a confession. When one reads the word "confessions," one would not necessarily associate it with the word "narrative. They are also a more personal thing- one does not simply put them in a story form unless purposely intending to do so, because usually it is something that expresses guilt for something personal or is between the author and their conscience or perhaps to themselves.

Just like I prefer my understandings and beliefs to have reason and flow, so to should songs, records, and even blogs. And right now, this blog feels all over the map to me. Here's the thing, I write because I have endless questions and curiosities and my process is to work through them by doing research and then ruminating on what I find, finally organizing my thoughts into essays. I like to check the logical flow of ideas and personal conclusions before moving on, I mean, even the wildest of notions must still conform to reason, right? In case I hadn't mentioned it, releasing an album and playing music professionally was never a dream of mine, at least not until very recently. Perhaps it was a dream that was simply too big, who knows?
